In 2010, Grace Community Church and Stephen Karimi came together to establish Gospel Rescue Mission in Thome. Their aim was to improve livelihoods in the community by spreading the Gospel of Christ.
Mission Thome is a non-profit, Christian organization dedicated to serving the families of Thome, Kenya and surrounding communities through faith, education, and community development. We are committed to nurturing children in their development and health, empowering adults to be self-sufficient, and transforming lives through God’s love
Our goal at Mission Thome is to bring the gospel to the people in and around the community of Thome, Kenya. Our long term vision is to serve a healthy, self-sufficient, and productive community working to grow the body of Christ.
